Gift for my Galentine!

I’ve had the time of my life shopping and sewing. Kiddo found her Instagram and helped me build her a fabric bundle. I’m in love and kinda want to open a fabric shop where all I do is build surprise fabric bundles for people, is that a thing?

Because a quilt is just a really pretty hug that you make yourself, right?! Just a reminder…it IS ok to just make things for you because it makes you happy. You don’t owe anyone an explanation.

Stayed in industry far past when my body said quit because I just love all the pretty fabrics.

(Also, I was supposed to be writing new patterns for my fabric collection that got cancelled, which might have been the universe forcing my hand lol).

Now what? What do you do when your whole identity is going away? I can’t make the things I want to make. My creativity is costing me my health.

Letting go feels like death. Staying costs me everything else.
